Cross Over 2015
The idea of creating the camp included engagement of highest quality professionals, and not only in basketball field.
Basketball is one of the most popular, but also the most developed sport on the Balkans. Basketball tradition is rich, and the trophies that were won and are still winning by players from the former Yugoslavia and its successors and Greece can hardly be counted.
Sports camp and students hotel Artem in Kragujevac , is one of the most modern in Serbia . Hotel is located in a quiet suburb, only a kilometer away from the bus and railway stations.

EUROPEAN CHAMPION JELENA MILOVANOVIC VISITED CAMPERS AT THE END OF THE SECOND SHIFT
Jelena Milovanovic closed the second shift of the Cross Over Camp 2015. After winning the European Championship in Hungary and Romania, Jelena was pleased to be part of socializing with young basketball players at this year's camp in Kragujevac.
Her career originated in Kragujevac and she stressed that she was very pleased that in her town young athletes have the ability to develop, and it is particularly good that the city of Kragujevac, is not just basketball city, but women's basketball city as well.
In the previous season Milovanovic played for Washington Mistics in the WNBA league in the United States. Winning European championships and a spectacular final against France in Budapest is the crown jewl in her very successful career.
We wish Jelena good luck at the Olympics, and in the second shift she was welcomed by players from the Republic of Srpska, Serbia, Ukraine, Switzerland, Italy and Bulgaria.
Professor Trunić held usefull lecture again and coaches headed by Alexander Sabutski who come "in the vanguard" from Ukraine were extremely satisfied.
We wish to thank to our friends from the Italian Pordenone, Switzerland Lausanne, Bulgarian Burgas, Belgrade and the Republic of Srpska.
We would like to mention our friends from Edessa in Greece who canceled participation in the camp because of the well-known events. We want to support them and hope that the situation will calm down in Greece and that we will gather again.
MIHAJLO ANDRIC PUT AN END TO THE FIRST SHIFT OF 2015
Partizan Belgrade shooting guard Mihajlo Andric, met campers at the end of the first shift at our camp this season. Some wanted to compete with him in the act of shooting threes. Guests from abroad mostly wanted to know whether Mihajlo will play in their country.
The first shift of the camp was attended by players from Turkey, Slovenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Romania, Macedonia and of course Serbia. Professor Dr Nenad Trunić singled out his valuable time that during preparation the U16 team of Serbia in Zlatibor, and gave a lecture to the coaches on the first shift.

NBA STAR VISIT AT CROSS OVER SECOND SHIFT
Former NBA star, Pistons "Bad Boy" - Rick Mahorn has visited Cross Over basketball camp as a promoter, and shared his experience with young athletes that attending the second shift of the camp. Basketball players from Italy, Poland, Bulgaria, Romania, Austria and Serbia were delighted with Rick’s presence!
SERBIAN MINISTER OF YOUTH AND SPORT AND NBA LEGEND MET AT OUR CAMP!!!
Minister of Youth and Sports Mr. Vanja Udovičić visited the "Big Man" camp, which is organized under the patronage of CROSS OVER basketball camp. On this occasion, he met with member of Detroit Pistons champions’ generation of 1989, Rick Mahorn, who is also the head coach of the first NCAA camp for tall players in Kragujevac.
Professor from the Florida Atlantic University, Mr. Mitchell Smith, held a lecture to the students about visualization in sport.
"Big Man" camp attendants are players and coaches from the U.S.A., Serbia, Israel, Montenegro and Slovenia.
We are proud that we can provide an opportunity for our young forwards to be trained with top professionals, and one NBA legend.
During the meeting, the two great champions shared their impressions and showed that they were glad that in Serbia there are people who know how to appreciate the value of sport. Mahorn thanked Minister Udovičić for the visit and support, while the legendary water polo player and current Minister, said that it is good that our young athletes have an opportunity to improve on such a high level.
Best camp participants have the option of getting scholarships at colleges in the United States, and there is also the possibility that our coaches go to practice in America and that transfer new knowledge when they return to their clubs.
THE FIRST SHIFT OF CROSS OVER CAMP IN 2014 IS COMPLETED!
The first shift of our camp, from June 22 to July the 1st is completed by competitions at the polygon, one on one, two on two, as well as with shooting competition.
The shift had 160 participants from Slovenia, Montenegro, Turkey, Macedonia and Serbia. New equipment completely thrilled participants, but the greatest impression was professor Trunić's situational training and lecture on the last day of the camp. Of course, in addition to the hard work was and entertainment. Again, the participants went to a water park in Aranđelovac, the city pool, partied last evening etc.
And let's not forget. Our friends from Slovenia came fourth year in a row, a Turkish delegation of 40 members, visited our camp for the firs time.

RICK MAHORN AND CROSS OVER IN JOINT VENTURE!
From the 20th to the 26th of July, in Kragujevac will be held camp for gifted players in center position, aged 17 to 21 years. Head coach at camp Top of your game in 2014 shall be a member of the glorious generation of the Detroit Pistons, who was called "Bad Boys" - Rick Mahorn.
CROSS OVER Camp Director Branko Zecevic is credited because this eminent camp is moved from Czech Republic to Serbia. Mr. Zecevic will be hosting the camp in Kragujevac which in the U.S. for now 30 years atend college players who want to play in the NBA. center position, aged 17 to 21 years. Head coach at camp Top of your game in 2014 shall be a member of the glorious generation of the Detroit Pistons, who was called "Bad Boys" - Rick Mahorn.
The ability to participate in the camp have given all tall players of specific age from all over Europe.

CROSS OVER AND COLLEGE OF SPORTS AND HEALTH
SIGNED A COOPERATION AGREEMENT !
As of February 13, 2014 our camp officially began cooperation with the College of Sports and Health in Belgrade.
We are honored that this respected institution of higher education recognized our efforts and this summer we will start practical cooperation .
On the basis of signed agreements between the College of Sports and Health in Belgrade and the International Basketball Camp "Cross Over", participant coaches have the possibility of realization of practical teaching and professional practice on the Course for the training of coaches which allows them to gain BLUE LICENSE of Serbian Association of Basketball Coaches .
Basketball Federation of Serbia and the Serbian Association of Basketball Coaches have signed an agreement about realization of this Course for the training of coaches (blue licens) with the College of Sports and Health from Belgrade.
As Prof. PhD Nenad Trunić is lecturer at College and at the same time the professional manager and author of the program of the Cross Over camp, there is an opportunity for the coaches - students at course, implement practical training through a top basketball program in the presence of a large number of players and coaches from Serbia and abroad at the camp. In this way, interested coaches have the opportunity to complete program exams together with practice at one place, and expand life and coaching experience at a presence of eminent coaches.
The presence of the camp is giving the opportunity to the coaches-students to complete practical training at the following exams from the College:
Otherwise College of Sports and Health is accredited for Training of choaches and other experts in the sport programme.
